Well I finished some more freelance work for Tyra.com Thanks to Amy for getting me the work yet again. Last time I was buried somewhere in the “online” magazine, hell I couldn’t even find it unless I had the direct link, lol. But hey hey, this time the stuff I did was on the main page, and was the cover for the March “online magazine” issue for the website. Very fun! I had to make her look like a paper doll, and make some dresses pseudo fit her. Hopefully I can continue doing this, as it’s just a nice thing to keep me busy while I’m looking for a full time position!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! A little Leprechaun I did a while ago, that certainly makes for a good post today!!

Well, I’ve decided to create some new assets. I started working on this project…. well, about right after I graduated Full Sail in 08. I got a job, so I put it down for a while, and decided about a month ago to pick it up again. So here I am, working on The Blob (Classic X-men Style, not that disgusting fat man from the wolverine movie that was “supposed” to be The Blob.
I have a few sketches of the concept, which I’ll be sharing once I get them scanned in, and/or if I decide to digitally paint it so I don’t have to scan it, and I can work on some of the lines without one thousand eraser marks. At any rate, I’m working on the base mesh at the moment. I’m about… 85-90% done with it, there are still some things that are bothering me about it, and he’s not attached. I also have to create some blendshapes to have his mouth open, as I didn’t model it like that. I figure that’s much easier than opening it up in Zbrush etc. As much as I love Zbrush, I love being able to directly control each vertex with precision. So, a front side and back view of where he’s at.
